BRADFORD, PA – Freshmen Leu Cabanayan and Raphael Weber along with sophomore Tanner Pinto-Cohn were each multi-event winners for the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Swimming and Diving team as the Redhawks opened the second semester schedule with a 166-85 win Saturday over the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
Roberts (2-4) opened the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay as Weber, freshman Anthony Merced, Pinto-Cohn and freshman Hayden Smith combined for a winning time of 1:48.80.
Pinto-Cohn added a victory in the 50 backstroke with a time of 27.44 and helped the Redhawks finish the meet with a win in the 200 Free Relay as he teamed with Merced, Smith and sophomore Derek Woodford for a winning time of 1:35.36.
Cabanayan won both breaststroke sprint races with a time of 28.48 in the 50 and 1:02.17 in the 100. Weber was a winner for Roberts in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.65 and added a victory in the 200 IM race with his winning time of 2:07.31.
Junior Aiden Soggs was the top finisher in the 50 free with a time of 24.86 and sophomore Ethan Springle won the 50 butterfly race with a time of 25.91.
Roberts will swim next at SUNY Oswego Saturday with a meet set to start at 1 p.m.
