ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior
Ella Dossier and sophomore Lia MacDogall each registered four points as the Roberts Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team opened East Coast Conference play with an 11-5 loss to No. 25 Mercy on Saturday.
MacDougall scored three goals and tallied one assist while Dossier had a goal and three assists. Senior
Kadie Tierney added a goal for the Redhawks (1-5, 0-1, ECC).
Roberts took a 2-1 lead on Tierney's goal with 14:21 to play in the first half, but Mercy scored five of the next six goals to establish control of the game.
Junior
Alison Dioguardi led Roberts with four draw controls and freshman
Josella Harrison made seven saves.
The Redhawks return to action on Sunday, March 22 for a non-conference game at Dominican.
