ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team trimmed a four-goal deficit to two with less than five minutes to play but was not able to pull any closer in a 16-14 non-conference loss to Lock Haven University on Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore
Lia MacDougall and senior
Kadie Tierney both scored five goals for the Redhawks (3-8). MacDougall added two assists and caused four turnovers while Tierney registered one assist.
Junior
Alison Dioguardi scored three goals and secured six draw controls and freshman
Erica Savage contributed a goal and two assists. Senior
Ella Dossier added three assists.
Graduate student
Allison Clahane led the defense with six ground balls and five caused turnovers while freshman
Josella Harrison made four saves.
The Redhawks travel to D'Youville for an ECC game at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
