Career Goals:   Career in Business Administration.

Tennis History and Highlights: Jose played and competed in Puebla, Mexico at Centro Tenistico Guido Lorandi for three years and has   won several national championships around Mexico. He toured in California and  played several tournaments. In Mexico he trained with Eddie Fernando Gutierrez and Ignacio Garrido that are studying in a Division 1 University. Since 2013 Jose has trained and competed in Canada at the Niagara Academy of Tennis

Favorite food: My favorite food is pasta, salad and pizza.

Favorite Music group/performer: My favorite music groups are The killers, Imagine Dragons ,M83 and Brandon Flowers.

Favorite Athlete: Rafael Nadal.

Why I choose Roberts: The reason I chose Roberts is because of all the support that the showed to me and because I heard from my last coach Erick Garcia that is a really good College in both academically and in tennis.

What I look forward to the most about playing college tennis:   I look forward to help the team and win as much as I can, keep a good scholarship and try my best all the time.

Parents and Siblings: Father: Ivan Edilberto Lopez Velasco. Mother: Claudia Guadalupe Tapia Jara. Brothers: Juan Pablo Lopez Tapia and Luis Camilo Lopez Tapia.
