Biography
Scholastically: Foley graduated from Irondequoit High School as a strong two-sport athlete. Dan was an All County track selection setting Irondequoit’s high jump record at 6’4”. On the hardwood, Foley was chosen as his team’s Most Valuable Player and was also selected to the Section V All Tournament Team.
At Alfred State, Foley continued to excel. He averaged 13.8 points per game and 10.6 rebounds for the Pioneers. In his two years at Alfred State, Foley scored over 400 points and pulled down over 300 rebounds. Dan received First Team WNYAC All Conference recognition and was also a First Team All Region selection for Region 3, Division 2 Junior Colleges. He was chosen as his team’s Most Valuable Player and was also honored by receiving the Alfred State Leadership Award.
Foley didn’t lose a step jumping into a major role for the Raiders last season. He led Roberts in minutes played, rebounds, steals, and 3 point FG%. Dan averaged 11.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, dished out 119 assists, and had 70 steals on the season. He was selected as a 2nd Team All AMC player and a 2nd Team NCCAA East Region recipient for his efforts.
Foley graded out as the team’s second highest value points player last year and was selected as one of the team’s captains for the upcoming season.
Dan is a Business Administration Major.
