Biography
Scholastically: As a high school senior from Irondequoit High School, Heath was selected the Monroe County Division II Player of the Year. Heath averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.5 blocked shots per game last season for the Eagles. He accumulated an impressive list of awards during his senior campaign including MVP of the Irondequoit Holiday Classic, All Tournament Team for the Class AA Sectionals, First Team All County Division II for the second year in a row, First Team All Greater Rochester, a Ronald MacDonald All Star, and the Birds Eye Division II Player of the Year.
Heath was having an outstanding year before an illness knocked him out of eight games. He had just finished his high point total of the year against RIT in the Wendy’s Classic tying a tournament record of going 6 for 6 from behind the three point line and scoring 29 points before having to shut it down for a while. Heath still finished the year as the Raiders leading scorer averaging 13.0 points per game. He was also second on the team in rebounding at 6.4 per game, 8.4 in conference games and was second on the team in blocked shots. Jordan graded out as the third highest value point player on the team last season. Even with the setbacks that Heath faced last season he was a unanimous choice for the AMC All Freshman Team.
Heath is a Criminal Justice Major.
