Biography

Scholastically: As a senior in 07-08, Owens led his conference in rebounding at 10.8 per game and also finished third overall in scoring averaging 16.8 points per game.  He was a three time Birds Eye Player of the Week, a repeat first Team LCAA All Star, and was selected to play in the Ronald McDonald All Star game. Owens finished his high school basketball career with over 750 points, 400 rebounds, and more than 100 blocked shots and assists.
 
As a freshman, Owens averaged over 5 points and 4 rebounds per game and started in 7 contests. Brent was a medical redshirt last year and missed the entire season after undergoing off season knee surgery. The Raiders are looking forward to having his energy back in the lineup this season.
 
Brent is a third generation athlete for the Raiders following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Bob, and father, Scott, who both participated in athletics while attending Roberts Wesleyan College.
 
Owens is an Education Major.
