Meet the Players: The men's tennis teams at Roberts Wesleyan and Lake Superior State are raising funds this spring to support the programs provided to children with autismn and their families. The student-athletes will be requesting donations from sponsors for each set of tennis they win this spring season. Donors can either pledge money for each set won, or pledge a flat donation. Each player will play approximately 20 matches throughout the season. In each match they will play a maximum of three singles sets as well as one doubles set. All funds raised will go to the Autism Council of Rochester to support their programming. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive a receipt when funds are collected in late April.
Autism Council of Rochester: The council is a volunteer-run agency of professionals and parents of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) children who have come together to aid others affected by ASD.
