Alex Williams

Alex Williams is in his second season as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for the Roberts Wesleyan Men’s Lacrosse Team. Coach Williams responsibilities include, assisting in all day to day operations of the program, recruiting, scouting opponents and, primarily working with the face-off unit and assisting with the defense. In Coach Williams first season, he managed the top F/O player to a 57% winning percentage, reaching as high as 4th nationally.

Coach Williams comes to Roberts with an extensive background in coaching. Serving as the varsity summer coach at Penfield (NY) from 2010- Present,  as well as assisting with the FCA Northeast Lacrosse.

As a player, Williams played for Penfield High School (NY) from 2009-2010. A two-year starter, Williams received 2nd Team All-County Honors in ’09 and ’10. He would go on to play Basketball and Lacrosse at Southern Virginia University, where he won the 2010 NAIA USCAA Division I National Championship in Basketball.

Coach Williams finished his lacrosse playing career at Roberts where he played in the Inaugural 2012 season. He would remain a starter for all four years (2012-2015), while serving as the team captain his junior and senior years. Coach Williams finished his junior year ranked in the Top 20 nationally for caused turnovers, and finished his senior year ranked in the Top 10. Alex led the 2014 team to the most wins in Roberts short history. Williams graduated from Roberts in 2015 with a B.S. in Business Administrations, with minors in Coaching and Social Science.
Coach Williams is a Rochester native, currently living in North Chili.
