AMHERST, N.Y (October 5, 2011) - The Raiders fell to the Daemen College Wildcast this evening 3-1(25-21, 11-25, 16-25, 18-25).
The match strated out well for the Raiders, winning the first set 25-21. After the first set, the Raiders failed to create enough offense against the surging Wildcats who have won 7 of thier last 10.
Gisela Ocasio finished the match with 12 kills and 31 assists for the Raiders.
Katie Maher had 22 digs and an ace.
The win puts the Wildcats at 20-8 on the season and 3-1 in conferene action.
The Raiders fall to 13-7 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
The team continues thier road swing on Saturday when they visit Houghton College at 1pm.
