Box Score

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (November 8, 2011) - The Volleyball team lost to the Daemen College Wildcats this afternoon in the American Mideast Conference semi-finals 3-2 (25-19, 15-25, 18-25, 26-24, 11-15).

"It was a hard fought match," said Coach Kirsten Meyers. "Coming back from being down 19-23 in the fourth set showed how hard the girls have worked all year. We are sad our season couldn't continue, but are happy with how far we have come."

The third seeded Raiders won the first set before losing the second and third sets to the second seeded Wildcats.

In the fourth set, the Wildcats led 23-19. After a thrilling rally, the Raiders won 26-24 to force a fifth set. It is the second time this season the teams have played five sets.
