Isaac Mederios led the Redhawks with a game-high 22 points

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Dec. 12, 2014) – Roberts Wesleyan opened up their conference schedule with a 63-58 come-from-behind win at home this evening.

After trailing 28-19 with less than five minutes left in the first half, the Redhawks made a short eight-point rally before heading into the locker room trailing Queens, 30-27. Roberts Wesleyan then came out of the break trading points with the Knights for the first five minutes.

With 15 minutes left in the game, the Redhawks took control of the game as they used a 15-3 run over the next 6:46 to take the lead.

Teammates Kevin Madiamba added 14 points while Tyrel Dixon added 10. For Madiamba, the swingman led the team from long range, going 2 of 3.

As a team the Redhawks shot 40% from the field and 31.3% from beyond the arc.

For Queens, who falls to 0-7, was led by Jeremiah Mordi's 14 points.
