Rochester, N.Y. ( September 27, 2014) – The Women's soccer team was ousted 3-0 by Maine Fort Kent this afternoon in non-conference play.

Roberts Wesleyan held onto the game for the first 30 minutes of play before Maine-Ft Kent scored their first goal. Yosselin Berrueco scored off of a rush outside the six yard box. Nine minutes later the Bengals would see their second goal again by Berrueco who notched it in to the lower left corner.

The Redhawks struggled to get an offensive effort together. Roberts Wesleyan took just one shot in the first half to the Bengal's eight.  In the second half forwards Ellie Swan, Heaven Palamitia, and Taylor Fletcher had more chances taking seven shots and getting into several close scoring opportunities, but were unable to capitalize.

The Bengal's last goal was late in the game Kayla Richards took a shot which was deflected by Roberts Wesleyan defenders into the goal.
Redhawks' goalie Marissa Sell recorded 7 saves.

The loss puts Roberts Wesleyan at 3-5-0.

The Redhawks hope to pick up a win on the road this Tuesday September 30th against Lock Haven University at 7:00pm.
