Lock Haven, Pa. (September 30, 2014)- The women's Soccer team  picked up a win this week on the road against Lock Haven this evening in non conference play.

The Redhawks held Lock Haven to a tie throughout the match. Goal keeper Marissa Sell made four  saves and recorded a shutout for the match.

After 90 scoreless minutes Roberts Wesleyan was forced to over time. In the eighth minute of overtime Heaven Palamitia chipped a ball to team mates on the far side. The Ball hit the post and freshman Samantha Moreno was able to head the ball in giving the victory for the Redhawks.
 
The win puts Roberts Wesleyan at 5-5 for the season.
 
The Redhawks are at home this weekend. Friday the women's team plays Saint Thomas Aquinas College at 5pm.
