ROCHESTER, N.Y. (January 15, 2015) – The Women's Basketball team is set for a pair of conference road games this weekend as they take on Mercy and St. Thomas Aquinas.

The Redhawks visit Mercy on Friday for a 5:30 p.m. contest before squaring-off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Roberts Wesleyan is looking to remain undefeated in the all-time series against Mercy as they have won the previous four meetings. Against St. Thomas Aquinas, the Redhawks are just 1-3 all-time against the Spartans.

SCOUTING MERCY (7-6, 1-5 ECC)The Mavericks started out the season by winning six of the first seven games, but have since dropped five of their last six games… Mercy is led by senior forward Tanayzha Augustine's 14.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Augustine, who stands at 5-11, is averaging 37.1 minutes per game for the Mavericks… The primary three-point shooter is Tatiana Parish. The junior guard ranks fourth in the East Coast Conference with a 42.1 three-point field goal shooting percentage and is averaging 9.8 points per game as a key reserve player.
SCOUTING ST. THOMAS AQUINAS (6-9, 2-4 ECC)Hoping to snap a three-game losing skid, the Spartans will host Daemen on Firday night before hosting Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday. The team has won only one game in their last seven outings… The Spartans are led on offense by a freshman, Jenna Erickson. The guard is averaging 12.7 points per game while shooting 39.3 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 73.3 percent from the free-throw line… Junior forwards Alyson Brennan and KC Sokolski lead St. Thomas Aquinas with 6.8 and 6.7 rebounds per game respectively.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (8-3, 3-2 ECC)The Redhawks come into the weekend riding a three-game winning streak as they downed Post, Bridgeport, and Dowling at home last week… Senior forward
Marissa Sell has been a force on the boards as she currently ranks seventh in the NCAA with her 12.7 rebounds per game. Sell also ranks 21
st in country with her eight double-doubles… As a team, three players are scoring in double-digits as Sell leads the team with 15.4 points per game.
Samantha Courtney is second with 12.3. Right behind Courtney is freshman guard
Lucy Covley, who has 12.1 points per game… Covley was named the ECC Rookie of the Week after scoring 20 points in each of the two games she appeared in last week.
