ROCHESTER, N.Y. (January 8, 2015) – Roberts Wesleyan resumes East Coast Conference play this weekend as they entertain Bridgeport on Friday before facing Dowling on Saturday.

The Friday night game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. while Saturday's match-up is set for 2:00 p.m.

TICKETS
Roberts Wesleyan offers multiple ticket options, including courtside seating for $5. The 20 chair-back seats are available for all home games on a first-come first-serve basis. General admission is $3. Seniors (65 +) are $2, visiting students/children under 12 are $1, and RWC/NES students, faculty, and staff are free with a valid College ID.

PROMOTIONS
Friday's game is a part of Mascot Day as Reggie the Redhawk will host several of his friends, including Finley from the Rochester Razorsharks and R. Thunder from the Rochester Knighthawks. The mascots will hold autograph sessions in addition to entertaining fans during halftime of both the men's and women's games.

Saturday is Veteran Appreciation Day as the basketball teams will honor all veterans who have dutifully served our nation.
 
SCOUTING BRIDGEPORT (2-10, 0-4 ECC)
Bridgeport is coming off a 77-64 loss at Southern New Hampshire on Monday. Prior to that, they picked up an 85-65 win at home against Chestnut Hill on Dec. 30... Despite the Purple Knights' record, the team has four players scoring in double-digits and is averaging 65.4 points per game... Seniors Tiara Aziz and Jenna Hoffman lead the team in scoring thus far. Aziz leads with 14.8 points while Hoffman is second with 13.2 points... Bridgeport averages 39.3 rebounds per game, holding a -6 rebounding margin coming into this weekend...
 
SCOUTING DOWLING (2-8, 2-2 ECC)
After starting out the season with six straight losses, Dowling won two games before dropping their last two contests. The two wins came against Mercy and St. Thomas Aquinas last month... The Golden Lions have two players scoring in double-digits this season. Seniors Nicole Caggiano and Christine Verrelle are averaging 15.2 and 12.7 points respectively. Junior guard Kristina Surlan is right behind with 9.7 points per game... Senior forward Kristen McMahon is Dowling's leading rebounder as she is hauling in 8.2 rebounds per game...
 
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (6-3, 1-2 ECC)
With the win over Post on Monday, head coach Bob Segave earned his 125th career win. He has the most wins of any coach in program history... After finishing with her 14 points and 14 rebounds against Post, Marissa Sell has picked up seven double-doubles in the eight games she has played in thus far. She has also scored in double-digits in each game... Junior forward Samantha Courtneyranks fifth in the East Coast Conference with 23 blocked shots. She is on pace to top last season's mark of 39 blocked shots... After this weekend's two games, Roberts Wesleyan will play nine of their remaining 15 games on the road... As a team, Roberts Wesleyan leads the conference in assists per game. The team is averaging 16.1 assists, which is slightly higher than Queens' 15.9 assists per game...
