ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan volleyball fell to Bridgeport in straights sets this evening inside the Voller Athletic Center.

The visiting Purple Knights, who are ranked No. 1 in the East Region rankings, overpowered Roberts Wesleyan in their first meeting of the season.

Anjali Thomson paced the Redhawks with six kills off of 12 attacks to finish the match with a .417 hitting percentage.

Senior outside hitter Kate Steger added five kills while leading the team with four digs.

Roberts Wesleyan is back in action on Saturday when they host Dowling at 12 p.m.
