ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan volleyball team narrowly fell this afternoon in a five-set match to Molloy inside the Voller Athletic Center.
Roberts Wesleyan and Molloy traded sets before the Lions controlled play in the deciding set, taking the 15-12 win.
Despite the loss, the Redhawks had an exciting performance from sophomore outside hitter
Courtney Taylor, who tallied 27 kills off of 54 attacks to finish the match with a .389 hitting percentage. That performance puts Taylor tied for fourth in the program record book for kills in a match, tying former standout Jamie Culp.

Kate Steger also had a productive match, recording 18 kills while middle blocker
Kristina Button added 10 kills off of just 21 attacks for a .476 hitting percentage.
The loss puts Roberts Wesleyan at 1-2 in the East Coast Conference and 1-11 overall.
The Redhawks are off until next weekend when they travel to NYIT on Saturday, Oct. 10.
