ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan volleyball fell on the road to Molloy this afternoon in a four-set match.
After dropping the first set, 25-21, the Redhawls earned a hard-fought 27-25 win in the second set. Then after ceding the fourth set, Roberts Wesleyan nearly sent the match into a deciding fifth set before falling 31-29, their highest scoring set of the season.
Courtney Taylor led the team on offense with 17 kills off of 45 attacks to end the match with a .311 hitting percentage while fellow outside hitter
Kate Steger finished with 12 kills.
Taylor, a sophomore, leads the team and is currently sixth in the East Coast Conference with her 3.17 kills per set.
Steger also added 14 digs and two solo blocks on the defensive side for Roberts Wesleyan.
The team is off until Friday when they return home when they host NYIT at 7 p.m.
