ROCHESTER, N.Y. - In their home opener the Redhawks were unable to come up with the win. In a hard fought match Roberts Wesleyan came back from behind but was hard pressed to hold the lead. A large run from the visiting, Adelphi Panthers, put home defense to the test.

The lead changed nine times in the game, and was tied five times, as it was a fast paced game of runs for both sides.

How It Happened
After being down for much of the first half the Redhawks took control. They increased their shot percentage from 35.3% to 50.0% between the halves; while they held Adelphi to shooting only 41.4% after a first half of 50.0%. Roberts Wesleyan second half fouls hurt the Redhawks and allowed the Panthers to come back via free throws for the win.

Roberts Wesleyan was 5-20 from three point range, opposed to Adelphi's 11-31 which assisted the visitors in securing the win.

The senior forward led the Redhawks setting his single-game point record with 31. He also tied his single-game block record with two, fought for seven rebounds, and earned five assists. Dixon shot 45.5% from the field, while making 10 of 13 free throws.
