BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball dropped their first conference road game of the season Friday evening to Bridgeport, 69-51.

Freshman guard Zack Panebianco led the Redhawks with a 13-point effort after going 5 of 9 from the field and 2 of 2 at the line.

How It Happened
Bridgeport scored 36 points in the paint while shooting 43.3 percent from the field to pick up the win against the Redhawks.

Roberts Wesleyan found it tough going underneath their basket, scoring just 20 points in the paint.

Key Stat
The Redhawks shot just 19.44 percent from the field in the first half, but improved in the second half by hitting more than a third of their shots.

- Senior forward Tyrel Dixon added four assists to his stat line as he scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds.

The freshman finished above his season average of 11.8 points per game against the Purple Knights by shooting 55.6 percent from the field.
 
Panebianco was also the top rebounder for Roberts Wesleyan as he hauled in eight rebounds.
