ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball defended their Wendy's College Classic title by defeating Rochester on their home court, 79-77.
It is the fourth Wendy's title for the Redhawks, who used
Tyrel Dixon's 21 points to claim their third win of the season .

How it Happened:Roberts Wesleyan shot out to a 21-9 lead in the first half to hang on to the lead until the Yellowjackets took a one-point lead with just six minutes left in the game.
With the Redhawks leading 77-75,
Malik Dare sealed the win with a lay-up in traffic with just seconds left on the clock.

Key Stat:The Redhawks shot 50 percent from the field, hitting 10 of 20 from beyond the arc.

Quinn Carey again led the Redhawks from long range, going 4 of 7 from beyond the arc.
