ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 28, 2015) – Playing their first game in two weeks, Roberts Wesleyan fell at home to No. 4 NYIT this afternoon, 17-5.

Roberts Wesleyan kept the Bears at a manageable distance through the first 15 minutes. With a little more than 10 minutes to play in the first quarter, Dom Cianfarano tied the game at 2-2 before NYIT scored three-straight to make it a 5-2 lead.

Seth Miller got one back for Roberts Wesleyan with 1:47 left , making it a two goal NYIT lead, but that was going to be as close as the Redhawks would get the rest of the way.

After Cianfarano scored with 6:08 left in the third quarter to put the score at 8-5, NYIT reeled off nine unanswered goals to close out the game.

In all, Cianfarano tallied three goals as Brady Bermingham and Miller each added one goal for Roberts Wesleyan.
