ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 8, 2015) - Roberts Wesleyan faced a tough loss as they fell to nationally-ranked Mercyhurst this evening, 12-4.

The Redhawks found themselves down quickly as Mercyhurst's Cory Becker scored just over a minute into the game. However, Dom Cianfarano responded with a goal of his own four minutes later,off of a pass from Cody Lewis to tie up the game.
Cianfarano was able to add another goals in the first quarter, but it was not enough to stop the Lakers who reeled off four-goal spurts on two occasions.
Matt Benedit and Mike Hubert each scored once for Roberts Wesleyan, who slipped to 3-9 overall. Playing Mercyhurst marked the fifth time Roberts Wesleyan has played a ranked opponent this season.

Defensively, Alex Williams caused two turnovers while goalkeeper Keith Keehn took the loss with nine saves.
The Redhawks will play in their final home game Saturday, April 11 as they take on Downling College at 1 p.m.
