SPARKILL, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan women's soccer opened up the conference portion of their schedule with a positive 2-0 result on the road this afternoon against St. Thomas Aquinas.
Junior midfielder
Bella Mitrevski led the Redhawks by scoring the first goal in the 68
th minute before assisting on the game's second goal with just under three minutes remaining.
Turning PointIn a game that saw Roberts Wesleyan pelting the Spartans goal, the breakthrough came when Mitrevski sent home a shot from the left side at the top of the box to the upper left corner in the 68
th minute.
