SPARKILL, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan women's soccer opened up the conference portion of their schedule with a positive 2-0 result on the road this afternoon against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Junior midfielder Bella Mitrevski led the Redhawks by scoring the first goal in the 68^th minute before assisting on the game's second goal with just under three minutes remaining.

Turning Point
In a game that saw Roberts Wesleyan pelting the Spartans goal, the breakthrough came when Mitrevski sent home a shot from the left side at the top of the box to the upper left corner in the 68^th minute.

Individual Leaders
- Mitrevski now has 15 points (5 goals, 5 assists) on the year with her three-point effort against St. Thomas Aquinas.
- With her goal in the 87^th minute, Brittany Houghton continues to lead the Redhawks with 16 points (7 goals, 2 assists) through the first six games of the season.
- Freshman goalkeeper Mary Kate Eckert earned her second shutout of the year after making two saves.
