SPARKILL, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan women's soccer opened up the conference portion of their schedule with a positive 2-0 result on the road this afternoon against St. Thomas Aquinas.

Junior midfielder Bella Mitrevski led the Redhawks by scoring the first goal in the 68th minute before assisting on the game's second goal with just under three minutes remaining.

Turning Point
In a game that saw Roberts Wesleyan pelting the Spartans goal, the breakthrough came when Mitrevski sent home a shot from the left side at the top of the box to the upper left corner in the 68th minute.

Individual Leaders
- Mitrevski now has 15 points (5 goals, 5 assists) on the year with her three-point effort against St. Thomas Aquinas.
- With her goal in the 87th minute, Brittany Houghton continues to lead the Redhawks with 16 points (7 goals, 2 assists) through the first six games of the season.
- Freshman goalkeeper Mary Kate Eckert earned her second shutout of the year after making two saves.
