ROCHESTER, N.Y. –Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse were edged at home to No. 15 Mercy on Saturday, 7-5, in a tense East Coast Conference game.

Roberts Wesleyan led 3-2 midway through the third quarter, but were unable to hold on for the upset against the nationally-ranked Mavericks.

Turning Point
The Redhawks earned the one-goal lead with a pair of man-up goals six minutes into the third quarter, making the score 3-2. However, the visitors reeled off five straight to take a commanding 7-3 lead with six minutes remaining in the game.

Individual Leaders
- Roberts Wesleyan saw five different players score in the game as Alex Bianchi, London Booker, Matt Benedict, Cody Menzies, and Javier Zuniga all found the back of the net once.
- In goal Keith Keehn made 16 saves while taking the loss as the junior faced a total of 39 shots.
- Zac Sapor led the defense with four caused turnovers for the Redhawks.
