Rochester, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team couldn't find a way to pick up the win on Saturday afternoon as they lost to LIU Post in East Coast Conference action, 74-80.
Junior
Manny Joseph finished with a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds while freshman guard
Isaiah Lewis scored a team high 23 points adding in five assists.
The Redhawks held the lead throughout the first half in a back-and-forth game until a made basket with four seconds left gave LIU Post a 36-34 lead heading into the second half.
In the second half Roberts saw the Pioneers build a nine point lead late in the game. With 30 seconds remaining in the game
Quinn Carey hit a three pointer to cut the lead to 76-72, but it was too little, too late as the Pioneers went 4-of-4 from the free throw line down the stretch to seal the victory.
