Lafayette Hill, Pa. – Three players scored two goals each but the Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse team couldn't come up with the win falling to Chestnut Hill, 9-7 on Saturday.

AJ Hemms each scored two goals in the loss.

The Redhawks took a 4-3 lead in the third quarter off a goal by Menzies, but Roberts would trail the remainder of the game after Chestnut Hill scored four straight goals to take a 7-4 lead with 14:21 left in the fourth quarter.

Roberts cut the lead late in the game after a goal by Hemms and then Menzies made the score 8-7 with 2:36 remaining. But the Redhawks weren't able to tie the score up and Chestnut Hill iced the game with a final goal in the final minute of the contest.

Roberts Wesleyan falls to 4-6 on the season and 1-3 in the East Coast Conference. The Redhawks will face off against District of Columbia next Saturday at 3 p.m.
