OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. - The Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse team came up short in a hard-fought away game on Saturday against the number one pre-season ranked NYIT Bears, 16-13.
The Redhawks came out strong in the first quarter, responding to each of NYIT's goals with one of their own. NYIT came into the second quarter with a vengeance, outscoring the Redhawks 6-1. Heading into halftime trailing 9-4, the Redhawks returned ready to play.
