Williamsville, N.Y. – Three different Redhawks contributed to the point tally in a tough loss against ECC conference opponent Daemen College on Tuesday, 7-2. 
 
Senior Hugo Ball-Greene and freshman Guido Janssen stepped up to be the only doubles pair to defeat the Wildcats with an 8-6 win in No. 1 doubles.  Senior Jose Carillo made a statement in the No. 6 singles match, sweeping his opponent 7-5 and 7-6.
 
Doubles pair Dennis Barlotta and Dustin Eshelman came close to getting the second point in No. 2 doubles, falling 9-8.  Junior Andrew Freeman also came close in the No. 5 singles match, losing 6-4 in both games.
 
Daemen held the upper hand throughout the match, defeating the Redhawks in doubles 2-1 and in singles 5-1.
 
The Redhawks return on Friday to host the NYIT Bears on their home court at 6 pm.  The match will be played at Midtown Athletic Club.
