LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's soccer team remained undefeated on the road with a 1-0 win over Chestnut Hill College Thursday night. The goal came from junior midfielder
Allison Parsels with an assist from senior
Tiffany Melendez late in the first half.
The Redhawks were on the attack through the first half but couldn't capitalize on several opportunities. But with just 12 seconds remaining Parsels provided what would be the game winning goal. The assist came from
Tiffany Melendez.
Roberts were consistent in remaining in the Griffins defensive zone finding seven shots in the first half. The five shots on goal were lead by
Taylor Rutland and
StevieLyn Diggory with two, and Melendez with one.
In the second half Roberts continued to play a fierce offensive game drastically out shooting Chestnut Hill with 17 shots totaling 24 shots for the game 11 which were on goal. The Redhawks defense kept their opponent to only four shots. Shot takers for the Redhawks included:

Skyler Roberts.
Goalkeepers
Kelsey Brinkel and
Madison Lamarche split the game at 45 minutes in the box each and kept the Griffins scoreless with each keeper having one save.
The Redhawks are back in action on Friday as they take on East Coast Conference opponent Lincoln in Pennsylvania. Kickoff is at 5:00 p.m.
