ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's volleyball team fell short at home against Saint Anselm College 3-1 Saturday afternoon.
After dropping the first set, the Redhawks evened things up in the second with a 25-19 win. Roberts had 11 kills and a .222 hitting percentage in the set. The Redhawks scored three straight points to close out the set getting kills from
Jadyn Barker and
Anna Vorderbrueggen.
Rachel Holmes ended the set with one of her two aces on the day.
Lauren Norwood led the team in kills with nine in total. Holmes came up with 23 digs and Barker added five blocks.
The Redhawks are home for their next match on Saturday, October 26th against Molloy College. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
