Box Score WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team advanced to the NCCAA semifinal round on Wednesday with a 70-60 win over No. 7 Piedmont International University.
 
Senior Peyton McLaurin had a game-high 23 points. Freshman Fope Okuyiga was one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
 
After opening a double digit lead in the first half Piedmont closed the gap and tied the game with under one minute to play before the break. But a Justin Vaughan three pointer gave Roberts a 34-31 lead at the half.
 
In the second half the Redhawks began to build the lead with around 13 minutes to play when they used a 16-0 run to go up 55-39. Piedmont was able to cut the lead back down to five points but Roberts was able to hold on to the victory and move on to the next round.
 
The No. 2 seeded Redhawks will now play No. 3 seeded Hannibal-LaGrange on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
