SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The No. 2 team in the country was too much for the Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse team to handle on Saturday as the Redhawks fell to Le Moyne College, 18-6 in the season opener.
Gavin Marsh led the scoring effort for Roberts with three goals. The junior fired off seven total shots with five on target.
It was a tough matchup from the start with the Dolphins jumping out to a 5-0 lead. By the end of the first quarter Le Moyne claimed a 9-1 advantage.

Pat Hynes had a busy day in net facing 49 total shots by Le Moyne and making 13 total saves.
The Redhawks will be back in action again on Feb. 19 at Wilmington University in Delaware. Gametime is set for 3 p.m.
