Gademske Records 100th Career Point in Win Over Molloy, 4/3
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Redhawks returned to their home field after a stint on the road this past weekend, taking on Molloy College in an East Coast Conference match-up. An all-around strong first half put the Redhawks at a 7-1 advantage going into the break. The Redhawks kept their lead through the remainder of the game, finishing with a 15-7 advantage over the Lions and moving to 5-3 on the season.
Senior Matt Gademske scored the first two goals of the game to put the Redhawks in the lead. Molloy responded with one goal in the first quarter, but the defense had a stellar second quarter to hold the opponent to one shot and zero goals. Molloy made a run in the third quarter, outscoring the Redhawks 5-4. Roberts kept their composure with a 12-6 lead, though, holding Molloy to just one goal in the fourth. The Redhawks were very consistent offensively, scoring three goals in the first and four each throughout the second, third, and fourth quarters.
Gademske led the Redhawks with four goals and two assists. The Buffalo, N.Y. native achieved the milestone of 100 points in his career at the contest. Fellow Senior Hunter Lemieux netted four goals as well, adding an assist. Senior Gavin Marsh contributed two goals and an assist to the mix while Juniors Connor Jones and Michael Pierog, Sophomore Dan Doviak, and Freshmen Jordon Deats and Dan Doviak rounded out the scoring with one goal a-piece.
Defensively, Senior Goalkeeper Pat Hynes made seven saves on the day and picked up four ground balls. Senior Mitch Streety and Freshman Luke Delavak picked up a game-high seven ground balls each.

The Redhawks (5-3, 1-1 ECC) take a brief hiatus as they are expected to travel to St. Thomas Aquinas next weekend for another ECC match-up. Game day is set for April 17th at 1 pm.
