SALEM, W.V. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's soccer team won its third consecutive match, defeating Salem University 3-0 in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon.
The Redhawks (11-1) notched their seventh shutout of the season while outshooting the Tigers,10-2.
Roberts took a 1-0 lead on an own goal in the 22
nd minute.

Gabrielle Ciambella scored her fourth goal of the season in the 38
th minute on an assist by freshman
Cassidy Pearce as the Redhawks took a 2-0 advantage into the halftime break.

Cami Brescia added her first collegiate goal in the 65
th minute.

Nicolette Knauf, the reigning East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, and freshman
Courtney Yencer split the goalkeeping duties. Yencer made one save in 14 minutes of action.
The Redhawks host Molloy (5-1 ECC) in a conference match at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams have 15 points in ECC play.
