BUFFALO, N.Y. – Freshman Olivia Price had a career-high 20 kills to help the Roberts women's volleyball team defeat D'Youville for the third time this season. The Redhawks took down the Saints in four sets (25-19; 21-25; 25-22; 25-20).
Price was the most dominant player on the court the entire night and powered the offense for Roberts. The Ovideo, Fla. native had a previous game-high of 10 kills against Le Moyne on Sept. 20 before doubling that on Friday night against D'Youville. Price also came up with 10 digs and three blocks.
Charlotte Orgill and Celine Malosa stepped up in a big way out of the middle for the Redhawks. Orgill added six kills while Malosa put down eight kills.
Sarina Pasquantonio and Caleigh Schroeder split time at the setter position and had 17 and 21 assists, respectively.
The Redhawks won the first set and dropped the second set to the Saints, but then responded with grabbing the third and fourth set to get the victory.
D'Youville was led by Jaycee Karelus with 13 kills.
Roberts heads into the final two matches of the season next week at home. The Redhawks host Queens on Friday at 7 p.m. and Molloy on Saturday at noon.
