ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team couldn't come up with a win in its home opener on Monday night, falling to Edinboro University, 87-77.
 
Three players scored double digits for the Redhawks. Malik Brooks and Ja'Kair Sanchez led the way with 17 a piece while Abou Gbane finished with 16.
 
Edinboro's size inside gave Roberts trouble as the Fighting Scots outrebounded the Redhawks 48-24, including 18 offensive boards for the visitors, leading to 17 second chance points.
 
The Redhawks forced Edinboro into 26 turnovers resulting in 24 points, but it wasn't enough to cut double digit deficit.
 
Roberts (0-5) will host Alliance University (formerly Nyack) on Monday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.
