WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's and women's indoor track and field teams have both been predicted to finish third overall in the conference according to the East Coast Conference preseason poll.
 
The women's team totaled 92 points in the poll, coming in behind No. 2 Georgian Court (108 pts) and No. 1 Holy Family (114 pts). Holy Family had six first place votes while Georgia Court received four first place nods.
 
The men's teams had 59 points in the poll. Finishing above the Redhawks was No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas (61 pts) and No. 1 Georgian Court (81 pts). Georgian Court received all nine first place votes.
 
Last season the women's team placed fourth in the ECC Championships and the men finished second.
 
The Redhawks opened its indoor season on Dec. 2 at the Houghton December Classic.
