COLONIA, NJ – Graduate student Georgia Haverlock netted her career best single game scoring effort with 37 points against Clarion in the middle of the week and the effort earned her a share of the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week award.
Haverlock was the bright spot for Roberts Wesleyan this week. Despite an 0-2 week, Haverlock scored a career-high 37 points against Clarion in the midweek game and then added a team-high 17 points against Lock Haven Saturday. Her previous career high was 28 points as a sophomore in the ECC Tournament against Mercy.
She leads Roberts with a 24.8 points per game scoring average which is first in the ECC and ranks No. 3 in the Nation for points per game.
The Redhawks host Cedarville University Wednesday night and will play the first game of a basketball doubleheader Saturday with a 1 p.m. game against Laker Erie in the Voller Athletic Center.
