SPARKILL, N.Y. – In the second match in two days against St. Thomas Aquinas, the Roberts Wesleyan men's volleyball team fell, 3-1.
The Redhawks came out strong in the first set with a 25-22 win which included 16 kills on 28 attempts (.464%). But the Spartans controlled the next three sets for the win. STAC had a .384 hitting percentage on the day and Roberts hit .207.
Paul Fillion led the team with 12 kills along with 2 aces and 2 blocks.
Riley Green had 37 assists.
Both
Moises Jimenez and
Griffin Monrad had eight digs on the day.
Roberts will host Thomas More University on March 2 in the Voller Athletic Center at 11 a.m.
