HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team was locked into a tight game with Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University on Saturday afternoon.

The visiting Redhawks pulled within two points, 17-15, on a kill by freshman Ryan DeJohn before FDU closed the set on an 8-2 run to complete the non-conference sweep by scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-17.

DeJohn led the Redhawks (2-4) with 11 kills while sophomore Paul Fillion registered 8 kills, 2 aces and 3 blocks.

Landon Brouwer paced Roberts with 24 assists and Moises Jimenez finished with 16 digs.

The Redhawks return home on Thursday to host Geneva College at 5 p.m. and Houghton at 7 p.m.
