BUFFALO, NY – Sophomore Mackenzie Hagen continued her scoring streak with her second goal in as many games as she scored the lone goal for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Soccer team is a 1-1 draw with D'Youville University Tuesday night.
Hagen scored early in the second half for Roberts (5-3-2) after the two teams played a scoreless first half.
The Saints (2-5-2) answered four minutes later to knot the score at 1-1.
D'Youville had a majority of the scoring opportunities over the remainder of the game but the Redhawks defense led by sophomore goalkeeper Mia Tyndell held strong as the teams played to the draw in the non-conference game.
Tyndell finished with nine saves including eight in the second half as D'Youville held an 11-5 shots edge in the final 45 minutes of action.
Roberts returns to conference play Saturday with a trip to Molloy University for a 3 p.m. contest.
