SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Roberts Wesleyan University field hockey team allowed two goals in the first quarter while dropping a 3-0 decision to host Slippery Rock University on Wednesday afternoon.
Junior goalkeeper
Avery Richardson made 10 saves for Roberts (4-5), as Slippery Rock placed 13 of its 20 shots on goal.
Avery Carinci and
Makena Tooley generated shots for the Redhawks.
The Redhawks will travel to St. Louis on Sunday to take on Coker University. The game will be played at Maryville University. Roberts will play Maryville on Monday.
