Copp Registers Double-Digit Kills Again for Roberts

DOBBS FERRY, NY – Freshman Tiana Copp connected on 10 kills for her third double-digit kill effort in the last four matches but it was not enough as the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road to Mercy University in an East Coast Conference (ECC) match Saturday.

The Mavericks (14-3 overall, 8-0 ECC) won the match with set scores of 25-17, 25-11 and 25-22.

Copp led the offense with 10 kills and has 44 kills in the last four matches. Her 10 kills came with just one attack error and an impressive .409 attack percentage. Junior Camryn Karelus added eight kills for the Redhawks (2-21, 2-5 ECC).

Freshman Sierra George handed out 22 assists and Julia Dufková led the defense with six digs.

Roberts continues the ECC road trip Sunday with a 12 pm match at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
