EDINBORO, Pa. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team started fast but was unable to sustain its early momentum and lost a non-conference game at Edinboro, 86-64, on Saturday.
The Redhawks (1-3) led 20-9 with 14 minutes to play but Edinboro closed the half on a 31-10 run and did not look back. The Scots out-rebounded Roberts 48-30 and held a 25-7 advantage in second-chance points.
Collin Woods scored 15 points to lead Roberts while
Keonjay Carter and
Khalik Gardner each scored 12.
Trey Kleitz added 11 points and seven rebounds.
The Redhawks will play a non-conference game at Lock Haven on Monday.
