LOCK HAVEN, PA – Junior Collin Woods scored 20 points and redshirt junior Keonjay Carter added 18 points as the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Basketball team built a pair of double digit leads but Lock Haven University battled back twice and rallied for an 88-83 win in overtime Monday night in Pennsylvania.

Roberts (1-4 overall) rallied early and held a 13-point lead with 4:15 left to play in the opening half but the Eagles (2-2 overall) rallied to score the final 10 points of the period to trail by three points at 38-35 at the intermission.

The teams battled back and forth early in the second half before the Redhawks heated up from beyond the 3-point arc and went on a 16-0 run to build another double-digit lead at 62-47 with 11:46 left in the second half.

Freshman Jordan Brown and Woods had two 3-pointers each in the run and Carter added a pair of inside jumpers for the run.

A Lock Haven layup stopped the run but redshirt freshman Jaden Battle connected on another 3-pointer to give the Redhawks their largest lead at 65-49 with 8:17 remaining.

Roberts led 69-54 with 6:18 left before Lock Haven went on another critical run with a 16-4 scoring edge over the next four minutes to trim the lead to three points at 73-70 with 1:59 left to play in regulation.

The Redhawks connected on three free throws to stay ahead but a last second 3-pointer tied the score and sent the game into overtime.

The Eagles took control in the extra session with a 12-2 run to start the overtime session.

Carter scored five late points on a 3-pointer and a layup but the Redhawks could not overcome the lead.
