ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball opened the second half on a 17-2 run to cut a 53-34 halftime deficit to four points, but was unable to overcome visiting Clarion in a non-conference game Wednesday night at the Voller Athletic Center.

Trey Kleitz scored nine of his game-high 24 during the opening second-half spurt for Roberts, which fell by a score of 101-84. Kleitz made 8 of 11 shots from the field and 6 of his 9 three-point attempts for the Redhawks (1-5).

Jordan Brown scored 14 for Roberts, which lost guard
Collin Woods to an injury in the first half. Woods scored eight points in just nine minutes of action on Wednesday.
Roberts trailed 24-23 with 12:20 remaining in the first half, but Clarion used a 29-11 run to build its halftime lead.
Zachary Hicks scored nine points and Gardner added nine rebounds and four assists for the Redhawks, who play at Kent State University at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
