KENT, Ohio – Four players scored in double figures for the Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team in a 111-68 loss to Division I Kent State at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on Saturday.
Freshman
Jaden Lee made 3 of 6 three-point attempts and led the Redhawks with 13 points.
Keonjay Carter added 12 points while
Khalik Gardner scored 11 and
Jordan Brown finished with 10 for Roberts.
Zachary Hicks led Roberts with five rebounds.
Morgan Safford scored 22 points to lead Kent State (9-1), which has won nine straight games. The game counts as a victory for the Golden Flashes, but is an exhibition for Roberts.
The Redhawks open East Coast Conference play on Friday night against Molloy.
