ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Freshman
Jordan Brown scored in double digits for the third straight game but it was not enough as the Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team dropped its East Coast Conference opener, 90-75, at Molloy on Friday night.
Brown led five Redhawks in double figures with 15 points.
Jaden Lee and
Keonjay Carter each scored 14 points,
Trey Kleitz added 11 and
Jaden Battle 10 for the Redhawks (1-6, 0-1 ECC).
Khalik Gardner paced the Redhawks with eight rebounds.
Molloy held a 54-31 advantage in rebounding and outscored Roberts 38-22 in the paint.
The Redhawks continue their road trip with an ECC game at Queens at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
